Longford Berries is open throughout the berry season, usually from mid-November until mid April, depending on the weather.
The farm is open from 9.30am till 4.00pm on Wednesdays and weekends, and at other times by appointment. Twice weekly posts on Facebook keep you fully informed about what’s happening, what’s ripe, what’s special…
The range of berries is extensive… strawberries, blueberries, silvanberries, raspberries, boysenberries, jostaberries, loganberries, currents, and blackberries, are available as they ripen throughout the season.
As well, we sell a selection of jams and chutney featuring our fruit. We focus on small batches, ensuring that our jams are truly fresh.
Open to the air, in the ground and pesticide and fungicide free – meaning no need to wash to enjoy – make our berries a truly healthy choice at a time when consumers want to know where and how their food is grown. It doesn’t come fresher than when you pick it yourself!
And priced to make it an affordable adventure for the whole family – you pay for what you pick, without an entry fee! (The exception will be the sunflower maze in 2022, where there will be an entry fee)
